I am about to drain and re-grout my pool. The steps into the pool are covered in pebble crete which is deteriorating and needs replacing.

Can anyone reccomend a relaible contractor for the job?

I would be very interested to hear more about this.

Cost etc.

Are you using a contractor?

Size of pool and time to do job. Etc, etc.

Could you post any photos?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Two years ago I brought in a contractor to re-do my pool I removed the old tiles myself to save money they then came in took a top layer of concrete off the sides and floor in the pool and jacuzzi . My new pool is done in Terrazzo and looks amazing . No more having to worry about the grout getting dis-coloured After 2 years it is as good as the 1st day it was filled . The work took 28 days of which 5 days was spent polishing the walls and floor by machine the guy involved had been doing it for over 30 years he charged me 270,000 baht for a 10x4x2 pool/jacuzzi although I hear he now is charging over 500K but got to admit it looks a million $

Yes it would be IF that's what it is, if not and it is indeed Pebblecrete then the OP is correct but I doubt if real Pebblecrete would be deteriorating so easily unless someone has been pouring acid directly on it for some years..
