Two years ago I brought in a contractor to re-do my pool I removed the old tiles myself to save money they then came in took a top layer of concrete off the sides and floor in the pool and jacuzzi . My new pool is done in Terrazzo and looks amazing . No more having to worry about the grout getting dis-coloured After 2 years it is as good as the 1st day it was filled . The work took 28 days of which 5 days was spent polishing the walls and floor by machine the guy involved had been doing it for over 30 years he charged me 270,000 baht for a 10x4x2 pool/jacuzzi although I hear he now is charging over 500K but got to admit it looks a million $

Hi; and WHAT would be your location ? ? ? ? ?

BTW: this is commonly referred to as either:

1. Stone-Wash,

2 Exposed-Aggregate,or

3. Sand-Wash

Cheers,

JaapFries

Yes it would be IF that's what it is, if not and it is indeed Pebblecrete then the OP is correct but I doubt if real Pebblecrete would be deteriorating so easily unless someone has been pouring acid directly on it for some years..
