Bringing Wifes Niece To Australia

Featured Replies

I have been talking to my wife about bringing her niece a 7 year old out to Australia for a better life and education.

She is a great kid with a real personality and very smart, the future for her in Thailand is not so bright my wifes family is very poor and I understand to get a good education you need to be financial.

My question is how hard or easy or hard is it to get a visa for her to come and live in Australia full time almost adopt her i suppose.

Her father and mother have separated and she lives with her father who is a great bloke but has no money, he has already told my wife that it is a good idea for her to come out here and she is ready to come tomorrow.

I hope someone can help with some good advise.

Thx

Robbo,

Not impossible, but a VERY complicated and expensive process. The financial requirements for this visa are high, and given her age, there are other very strict requirements.

Student Visa (subclass 571)
