Tb Test For Spouse Visa

Featured Replies

Hi All

Is it possible that my GF can have a TB test while she is in the UK. if not, how long does it take to get the results in Bangkok and what is the Cost

Thank you in advance

Malc

Not sure about if she can do it in England. My wife did hers at the IOM in Bangkok last week. If she gets an appointment in the morning, goes the the hospital for her x-ray then returns to the IOM in the afternoon she will get the certificate the same day. That's if there are no issues with the x-ray. My wife was sent back to the hospital for a second x-ray but luckily they issued her the cert later that day. Cost is 2600baht and she will need to take her passport plus copy, ID card plus copy and 2x passport photos. The certificate is only valid for 6 months

My wife's experience explained here http://farangeye.blogspot.com/2011/07/tb-test-certificate-issued.html

Regards

you cannot get the TB test done in uk

i found that taking a taxi from iom to the nearest hospital took 1 hour each way. quicker to take the sky train. oh, and ask your wife to phone the iom and make an appointment. this is not necessary but will save you some time - make the app for when it opens.

i take it your wife has done her english language a1 test, or you have it arranged?

Bangkok for the TB Test.

You have to have the test before travelling to the UK

From his previous posts, the OP's fiance is currently in the UK as a visitor.

May have avoided confusion if he'd said that in his opening post; not everyone is familiar with everyone else's previous posts.
