Cycling safe in Thailand - I very much doubt it as there are hardly any of them, apart from kids. I can't see kids having to pass a cycling proficiency test. There are a couple of smartly dressed young Americans that ride about where I live - they wear helmets! They seem to have surviced for over a year - they must be working for God.
