Heng Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 Have done it a few times to Chiang Mai. Certainly better than the rest of the train, but I'd hardly call it 'first class.' Should be done for the experience, but I don't think anything really beats flying first or business + lounges and decent hotels on both ends.
