The front of one of my cars is covered in tried out bugs following a 800km trip tht included a one week stop during which the car with the bugs was left to dry.

I thought it would be an easy task removing them, but that turned out to be easier said than done.

Anyone has an advice how to easily remove these little dead buggers?

Are you saying I soak a towl in hot water and wipe off, or do I need to leave the towel soaking on the car fo a while..?

I always used WD-40 in the past.

I leave the soaked towel for a while, perhaps ad more hot water, then wash off with highpressure or sponge/shampoo

Yes works wonders almost instantly on all types of such things including oil's, adhesive, rubber, tar etc. without any paint damage..
