Hi,

This is my first post on this site so bare with me. I plan to take my Thai girlfriend back to the Uk for a couple of weeks this Christmas. There are various posts on how to do this i know, but my circumstances are a little different.

I am currently working in Korea where i have been for the past two years. Before my initial move to Korea i lived in Thailand for 6 years, and held a work permit for 5 of those years. My girlfriend studies part time on the weekends and has recently quit her job to to concentrate on the last 6 months of her course. We lived together for 3 years, and have been together for 4.

My question is this, how do i prove that i am supporting her? Also how do i prove that we lived together for those 3 years?

She will be staying with my family back in the UK, but she will be travelling alone to the UK where i will meet up with her. My Dad will write a letter for visa outlining the accommodation where she is staying etc.

Any help on how to tackle this visiting visa would be much appreciated.

I hope all this makes sense.

Thanks in advance

How do you send her money? Keep records of money into your account and you sending it to her, and her receiving it in her bank (her bank book). Internet banking receipts?

If you lived together you must have photos, receipts with your name and address on it, was she registered at that address in the Blue Book?

What reason does she have to return to Thailand is the one area that seems to be the problem area, address that and all should be well.

Look at flights with Etihad once she gets the visa, as they are doing specials around the 28000baht mark at the moment.
