I am looking for somewhere to buy vetiver grass (Chrysopogon zizanioides / Vetiveria zizanioides / Yaa Faek in Thai), to plant on my land outside Vientiane to prevent erosion. Anyone know of any supplier in Udonthani or Nongkhai area?

That I have bought in the past is what is called Yaa Mexican but that does not tolerate temporary flooding.

Go to your local ag department, research centre...thats what we did and they gave it to us for free.....we got about 4000 plants for a river bank.
