I hold a one year extension of stay stamp with a multiple re-entry permit.

I have left and returned to Bangkok by air - no problem.

Next month I intend to travel by land (bus) from Hatyai to Malaysia.

When I return back at the Bukit Hitam/Danok border by bus, will the

Thai Immigration at the land crossing (Malaysia/Thailand border) stamp me

the the remaining one year of stay.

I have not tried returning back to Thailand by land crossing.

This will be my first time.

Please kindly advise.

Thanking you all in advance.

No problem, it is the same as a airborder with your re-entry permit. They will stamp you in for the remainder of your one year extension of stay.

Yes but make sure. Enter the re-entry number in the visa section of arrival card as normal and check the stamp before you leave. They have to manually reset a stamp for the date so will take a bit longer than normal and easy to make a mistake.
