Thai To English Translation + Mfa Legalization

I have been charged 1500 Baht for translating a marriage certificate from Thai to English, and have it legalized at the Thai MFA. Is this reasonable? Or is it much cheaper if I take the translation to the MFA by myself?

cheap or expensive , i just dont know

i just know u can translate it by yourself ... it has a templete form in MFA site

It seems a bit much , I paid 900 baht in BKK . It might be wise to shop around . I just paid 400 to have a birth certificate translated but that is in Korat .

I get my translations Thai to English done in Bangkok, Sindhorn Buildings (Tower 3) 19th floor Wireless road opposite the American Embassy. I have had translations done for my daughters UK birth certificate and passport, also my marriage papers. The cost for the marriage certificate translation is 300 Baht, about 3 weeks ago i had my friends done for him as i was going to Bangkok.

They are very good.

I cannot remember there exact name but it is easy to find them.
