Is there anywhere in Chiang Mai that does windscreen repairs? Just a small star (*) that needs to be fixed.

Yes, there are many places but here's the one I know and has a good reputation. It's a glass shop called 'Pua Seng Lee' and located on Bamrungrad Rd.

From the Nawarat Bridge, go straight down Charoenmaung Rd. until you meet the first traffic lights. Turn left to Bamrungrad Rd and go on for around 50 metres or so .. I can't remember if it's on the left or right but you shouldn't have a hard time finding it. And if it's just a tiny crack, it shouldn't cost you more than 1000 - 1200 baht.
