Chiang Mai Flood Situation

Featured Replies

I'll be in Chiang Mai next week for some fishing at Borsang.Read about the recent floods, and wondered if the flood situation is now normal.Anyone knows if Borsang Fishing Park was flooded? If it was, I'll expect some of the fishes to have been lost to the floods.Any info would be appreciated.

What's a normal flood situation? It rains, it floods, that's normal in Thailand. It's still very wet in the north, but heavier rains from the last two weeks have abated somewhat so flooding in the streets has dissapeared largely. Rivers and lakes still high, but not broken their banks that I have seen driving around. Better keep an eye on the weather forecast. Still looks wet for the forseeable future, but how much flooding is anyone's guess.
