Cloest Place To Pattaya For Visa Re-Entry Stamp?

Featured Replies

HI there,

I am moving to Pattaya on Monday and I need to get my passport stamped by the following monday, can anyone tell me the closest place nearby where I can get my passport stamped for re-entry?

Cheers

Al

Pong Nam Ron, Ban Pakard is the closest to Pattaya. It's about 250 Km drive to the border.

There are many visa companies that will take you there, if you don't have your own transport, or want to drive yourself.

Thank you

My pleasure Al. However after reading through your post again, if you only need a re-entry stamp at an immigration office.

Then there is one at Soi 5 in Jomtien. Map.

I have a tourist visa, 3 x 2 months, everytime I have had my stamp I have gone to cambodia border near surin where I lived before and just walked over the border and came back after paying 1500bht. I have been to the immigration office here before for a 30day extension, are you sure I can also go here for my re-entry stamp as I thought you had to leave the country?

Cheers

No, you're doing the right thing.

What you're doing is usually referred to as a border run.

A "re-entry stamp" or "re-entry permit" is for visa holders that already have an extension to stay, and want to leave Thailand without losing their allowed stay.

Mostly used by business, marriage or retirement visa holders. Just wanted to make sure that wasn't what you were looking for.
