You experience this in Thailand but I see it's just another bad day with a stupid business owner and could happen anywhere doesn't have anything to do with Thai habits in general.

Ok...let me see if I've got this right.

You and 8 other people enter a newly established eatery for lunch and:

1) You and your party were very polite and accomodating

2) The children accompanying you were well behaved and nice

3) you and you party were willing to spend around 1000 bht

4) You and your party are local and if satisfied would probably be repeat customers spending considerable moneis of the coming months

The proprietor of this newly opened establishment responded by

1) Being incredibly rude to you

2) Refusing to serve you

3) Basically asked you to leave!
