If you use the generator more than 200 hours/year you are getting away from the standby use designation and should consider a more robust industrial grade prime power machine. In layman's language, it will wear out faster. Cheers IO, I do suffer from diarrhoea of the mouth on occasion, I appreciate your more condensed explanation, which of course is spot on... However i have to admit that those limited hours for a machine looking much more solid are a bit disappointing...33 minutes a day!....yes i understand now it is the "suggested operational time" but still....
