German resident found dead at his Central Pattaya home

PATTAYA:-- A German national has been found dead inside his Central Pattaya house. Police were called to the house off Soi Yumet by the housemaid who had discovered the body of the house owner, Mr. Hanspeter Bonn aged 63 on the sofa. His hands were clenched suggesting a cardiac episode occurred prior to his death. The maid, Khun Oosar aged 46 explained Mr. Bonn had lived in Thailand for many years and was married to a Thai who was currently working in Germany. Earlier in the day she saw Mr. Bonn use insect spray on his body to prevent mosquito bites. The spray he was using causes serious irritation to skin and contains harmful chemicals which can affect breathing. Khun Oosar claimed he would use this spray on regular occasions rather than regular insect repellant.

Those sprays contain neuroinhibitors (nerve gas). You would have to be out of your mind to put them on your skin.

If you must use them: spray the room, leave it for a few hours, then ventilate it thoroughly before entering again.

This is how those hotel guests in Chiang Mai probably died.
