How long does "New Car Smell" last? And how long until I do not freak out, when my daughter opens a box of milk or snack food?:ermm:

It all depends how you take care of the interior

regarding opening of snack food that kind of smell lasts temporarily

If new car smell smelt like a fart you would be happy to have it gone.

But with some people it would return every day. :o

love the smell, but once you are in traffic, parked neatly over a manhole cover on a wet day, all will be revealled :)

and removed ;)

2 weeks is my feeling. After that it just feels like a well taken care of used car. Nothing wrong with that BTW.

Not with the New Chevy Snooze, it lasts for years, why people buy such inferior smelling cars ill never know. :cheesy:

second hand car tent trick

burn a couple of plastic bags inside car, and close it when smoke has left

new car smell :)

which is actually dangerous gases from new seals, plastic and rubber

Smell of plastic. :)

A fix for a new fridge inside was to mix Bicarbonate of Soda with water and give it a wipe around, and it works, perhaps if the smell is getting up your nose perhaps try the same on the plastic. Please try a hidden bit first in case the plastic doesn't like it. :D

How long does "New Car Smell" last?

Strange question. I think you will notice this if you inhale through your nose.

Regarding the timespan, if you like smoking cigars or perspire a lot, maybe a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps. :)
