Hi, I am looking to buy a Palm LifeDrive when in Bangkok next week. Does anyone know the current local price ? Also what do people think of it is there anything I need to know before I purchase ? Thanks VaioLord

I like Palm products. Reliable, loads of free software, easy to use. Not sire the price (under 20K I think), there is a Palm Thailand website though, I can't be arsed to find it though. I wouldn't mind a life drive myself as I love my gadgets. Get the keyboard that is extra and you can do most things on it you can do with a PC.

being a little biased as I own an axim x50v from dell - I will say it is missing a CF slot , VGA screen and graphics chip . I am not a fan of microdrives in handheld devices - power drain and spinning media - a 4gig CF in panthip is now 9-10k baht.

I love the look and feel of the life drive. I am a sucker for shiny metal cases...but other than that, buy a Pocket PC...
