Immigration begin Pattaya crackdown on illegal foreign street beggars

PATTAYA: -- Immigration Police are about to start a major crackdown on illegal immigrants focusing on street beggars. It is believed that thousands operate on the streets of Pattaya and Police Major General Roy, the Commander of Region 3 Immigration held a meeting at the Chonburi Immigration Office in Jomtien on Monday Night to announce that it is time to rid the streets of such individuals to improve the image of Thailand.
