August 30, 201114 yr My daughter informs me that the Thai passport road show will be in Chiangrai on the 5th and 6th of September. Any Thai can apply for a passport at the Chiangrai Stadium on these dates. I hope my daughter as got her facts right.
August 31, 201114 yr Can anyone confirm the above ? ..My wife needs to get her married name put on her passport .Also anyone know if she can put her 8 year old daughter on her passport ? Also does the road show visit Chiang Mai ? Edited August 31, 201114 yr by Thaifan2
August 31, 201114 yr No need for it to visit Chiang Mai, there's a passport office there Your wife won't get her married name put on her passport, she'll need to apply for a new one with that name on it. She will need to change her name officially first at the Amphur she's registered at, then take the 'name change certificate that they will issue her with, to the passport office (or 'road show'). Once she's done all that, it takes about a week for her new passport to arrive, they will post it to her. Sorry, I don't know about having her daughter on the passport.

September 3, 201114 yr Chiang Rai Staduium is the same as the Chiang Rai Sports Complex. It is located near the Le Meridian Hotel and the Restaurants on the South-East side of the Rimkok River. Hope Soape's info about a passport Roadshow is correct. Would save some people a trip to Chiang Mai or BKK for getting a Thai Passport. Edited September 3, 201114 yr by KimoMax
