saengsureeya
Papa David II will re-open after a low-season break on the 15th of November. Papa David II is located on Soi Khao Talo opposite the Ayutthaya Bank (the yellow bank), near the new (and never opened) market. The menu will be adjusted to potential customer on the Dark Side and the menu-prices will be attractive enough to stop preparing your own meals at home. Source: Papa David himself BTW: Papa David I is located near the Hanuman Statue "roundabout" in Jomtien. saengsureeya
Papa David II along Soi Khao Talo opposite the Bank of Ayudhya has re-opened since one week now. The new and attractive thing is, that the menu only contains THB 99 or priced less items. The restaurant opens Mon - Sat at 9 a.m. and closes at 8 or 9 p.m. The food is great although the portions are somewhat smaller. Did enjoy 2 sausages, mashed potatoes and gravy (THB 99) and added a portion of baked beans (THB 25). So for THB 124 a nice meal. I'd say, give it a try. gmac
Wow...throwing more money down the drain...never saw anybody in the place. I went there once. it was ok, but the prices/quality of food didn't make me want to consider a second visit.
Phil Conners
I just had f&c there. Very simple, no peas or bread or anything, just fish, chips and tartar source of some sort. Not the best I've had but certainly not the worst either. Well worth the 99 baht + 35 for a diet coke. Its doesn't say Papa David anywhere, just a yellow sign saying "dinner 99".
