September 7, 201114 yr I need to get a document 'notarized' in Chonburi. The people I am getting the document from are asking for ฿7000 for the service if I use their lawyer, and they will not leave their office, so I need someone mobile, who can go to their office in central Chonburi. It does not have to be an official notary (since I know they are hard to come by in Thailand), anyone with an official looking stamp or a lawyer would pass. I just need to someone 'official' to verify that the person signed the letter. I was pissed off last year having to fork over $50 just to get one stamp at the US Embassy, and now I find out that was a complete waste of time and money, since it does not count for the dam_n bureaucratic a-holes in the USA. So now it looks like I will have to fork over another $250 for this service, unless I can find someone who will do it for less. I could hire a lawyer in the USA for less money than this, or else get about 25 documents notarized for the same price in California. Edited September 7, 201114 yr by RaoulDuke
