English Test To Secure Uk Spouse Visa

Featured Replies

Hi all. I looked over the list of accepted centers for testing English proficiency as is required to secure a spouse visa and called up a place called NORMINGTON. They offer the test for 2000THB which seemed considerably lower than other centres. Can anyone confirm the reputation of said establishment, as while I know it was on the list I would still like to hear firsthand if anyone has used them and whether they're kosher or nix.

Best regards,

Ryk

What list have you been looking at?

The only Test Providers now approved by UKBA are

- Cambridge ESOL

- City & Guilds

- ETS (Educational Testing Service

- Trinity College

- Pearsons

If "Normington" are unable to supply a certificate (a real one) issued by one of the above companies, it won't be accepted to support a settlement visa application. At present it is not apparent that City & Guilds or Trinity College have any language testing centres in Thailand.
