Thappraya Road Renamed

PATTAYA:-- Signs setting the demarcation of the new road, Jomtien Second Road are now being erected. The exact translation form Thai the English is "Jomtien Road Sai 2" but is called Jomtien Second Road in English.

Thappraya Road in South Pattaya is now called Jomtien second Beach Road. The road is currently one of the most heavily trafficked in Pattaya.

I think someone has simply made a mistake and plonked the wrong sign down in a place where it makes no sense at all. It should have been put further down that road, after the Hanuman statue.

Can anyone corroborate this report?
