Time Frame From Meeting To Settlement Visa

Featured Replies

Just interested to know how long it took you from when you first met to your settlement visa being granted , for me we have had a relationship of 1 year and 9 months , we decided to get married about a 8 months ago and we are planning our marrige 2 years from when we first met , so if all goes to plan we should get the settlemnet visa after 2 years 6 months , and i remember thinking how could i ever manage a long distance relationship ? its been a tough experience and i would say far from ideal but if you want to be with someone you love its worth the wait

We haven't got the settlement visa yet, but we're submitting the application next week. I met my wife in April 2010 and we were married a year later in May this year. Hoping to get an answer by November so all going well around 19months from meeting to settlement visa

3 years and 10 months since we met until we got married, It was the once bitten twice shy, But Decided that my New wife was worth everyday of the last 3 years and 10 months and i am a lucky bloke jap.gif

Started the relationship with my wife, March 2010. I met her six times, before applying for settlement in July 2011, which was granted. My wife, and her two children will come to the UK 1st November 2011. Still 6 weeks to wait.:(
