I want to be around Soi 7/8 on my next trip down to Pattaya but I want a place with a decent TV, not an ancient old box or a tiny portable. Not necessarily looking for a 50 inch plasma but even a decent 29" flat screen or 32" LCD would do.

Wi-fi at a decent speed also desirable, as is a safe which can take a 14" laptop.

Any ideas ?

Fipper Lodge and Soi 8, Flipper House on Soi 7.

Always found them bob on.

never heard of anyone having a problem there .

pool on the roof which is nice .

Pig and whistle on soi 7 looks good, dont know what size the TV's are tho, great english pub with rooms

Across 2nd road from Soi 7 just near the Pattaya Memorial Hospital behind the little strip of bars. Nice little Boutique hotel called '@Home Executive apartment'. A few of my friends have stayed there and they say it is really smart & quiet.
