craigt3365
Why don't we try this at first in the Pattaya forum. If that doesn't work, we'll try it in the Bangkok forum. Topic Moved.

sharecropper
dam_n. Going by the title I thought this was another Best Breakfast in Pattaya thread. Beer Lao - yes, in Makro, but Bundaberg I have not seen anywhere here, and rely on an Aussie mate to keep me supplied.

Yes there is Beer Leo is Thai beer and Beer Lao as the name already suggests is from Laos. Now if they were living in Laos I'm sure they would post all the time about where to find Leo beer I guess.
sungod
Resurrecting this thread, I grabbed a couple of cases from Makro over 6 weeks ago, on the weekly shops since I have not seen any, does anyone know of a wholesaler with regular supply? Contrary to the comments above (thank god he was banned) personally I think its one of the best tasting beers in the area (and I can still function the next day!), and when I have bought some even though its an import, it still works out slightly cheaper than the local 'premium' beers such as Heineken. BugJackBaron
I bought a bottle in Villa a couple of weeks ago. The first in a long time. Bars seem to have stopped selling it, even the few that has it a year or so ago. And I thought the quality was off too. Have they opened an operation in Thailand and dumbed down the quality ?- think Heiniken.
