How does VFS inform you when it is ready to be collected? My Mrs was told 2 different things at VFS office yesterday. Do they phone you or do you have to phone them? The track your application option online doesn't work.

Did you pay the extra 75 baht -SMS service - track your application. if you did you will get text and email when ready for collection

if you did not pay extra you will have to track on line

The online tracking does work, I have done it, however it will only tell you the application has been sent to the Embassy.

Your other half should get an SMS informing her that the application has been passed to the Embassy, in a few weeks time she will get an SMS telling her to go to the Embassy it will however not tell her if she has been successful, she must open the envelope to find this out.

If you gave an email address she would also get an email to say it is at the Embassy and another to say the passport is ready to pick up, again it will not say if the application has been successful.

Thanks, the online tracking is definately not working at the present time. I will wait for the email then.

The online tracking will only work when it has been entered onto the Database at the Embassy.

I think my wife got the email and the SMS first then after a day or two it was online.

My wife is picking up her letter Friday afternoon, No SMS that we paid for, Just a email saying the its ready to pick up.

I have read that if your not getting the SMS, then you have to let them know.

The passport is to be collected at Regent House

So the passport is collected from the British Embassy and not Regents House?

The passport is sent to the Embassy, then when the Embassy have finished they send it back to VFS, where

it is to be collected from.
