The Decline of Free Speech: How the UK Became a Third-Class Nation
Quite clearly it hasn't acted as a deterrent as I supplied you with evidence of someone making a post demanding that a politician be executed. So imposing such a sentence merely ruins that persons life for no good reason whatsoever. The burden of proof for taking someones freedom away should be a bit higher than "maybe it contributed, maybe it didn't" don't you think? I'm in favour of all terrorists on the watchlists being deported and making the religion of Islam illegal in the UK so no, I am not a free speech absolutist. There are certain cultures that are so backwards and so incompatible and have such hatred of the west and all it stands for that they should return to one of the many, many countries where they can practice their barbaric ways. Without this religion those 3 innocent little girls that were slaughtered in Southport would be alive and well today and Connolly would be free living her life in peace as she would never have made such a post. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
They happily deny entry for METV's where they are of the opinion that the foreigner has stayed in Thailand for too long. METV's are also multiple entry visas. They use the 2 catch-all sections in the legislation for denial of entry, Section 2 "no appropriate means of supporting oneself" and Section 3 "suspected of working in the Kingdom". Remember that a visa does not guarantee entry. Immigration has the right to deny entry. We have been down this road before. MFA issues visas via its embassies and Immigration does not honour them at the border. However, we may be jumping the gun here. There are no reports of denial of entry for DTV-holders yet. It is very early days yet. I will be paying close attention. I suggested the first denials of entry may come filtering through in the middle of 2025 as that will be when the visas may be a year old. Foreigners staying for 350 days out of 365 in the first year will undoubtedly draw the attention of Immigration. What Immigration do is another matter. -

Oh look! Jack Smith has filed a motion to drop charges against Pres. Elect Donald Trump!
I said during the campaign that all charges will be dropped against Trump when he wins. Got the obligatory laughing emojis and to those who replied to my post with said emojis allow me to say this: I was RIGHT and you were WRONG. Basically the only thing I got wrong was the amount of electoral votes he would end up with. I underestimated that one. Time for the bib wearing, toddler tantrum throwing Harris loving losers to once again respond with the obligatory emojis or actually respond and spew out more anti-Trump rhetoric. Soooooooo predictable. -

When Willful Ignorance is a Way of Life
Willful ignorance is a lifestyle deeply rooted in the American culture, widespread and praised from elementary schools to the boards of directors of multinational companies: "one can't make an omelette without breaking eggs" is a sentence I eared over and over again, and over and over again I witnessed appreciation for a job done in a "quick and dirty" way. 76,851,910 Americans gave PE mandate to "break eggs" like there's no tomorrow and, given in his total ignorance and his infantile delirium of omnipotence and narcissism, PE possesses unique qualities to dutifully accomplish this task. POTUS no. 48 will have the thankless task of putting back together the rubbles that no. 47 left behind, and right the ship before it sinks in a sea of manure. It's just another chapter of ordinary madness in the extraordinary history of the United States of America. -

Thailand Introduces Groundbreaking Mountain Rescue Training for Elephants
Sorry I believe that is totally wrong. The conditions where the elephants are being trained to be used, will be where vehicle access is not possible and helicopter access will depend on availably, limited landing sites due to tree canopies, lack of long line operations capability and prevailing weather conditions. When under these conditions, rescuers will have to access the incident site on foot and carry all rescue equipment and medical equipment with them , hence needing a lot more rescuers to cope with the workload. Carrying even a 70kg casualty on a stretcher any distance on uneven steep terrain in wet under foot conditions is a difficult challenge. Yes there is the logistics problems of getting an elephant to the scene, when it is outside their normal area, so deployment will be limited, but when vehicle/helicopter access is not available, elephants could prove to be an asset and would in certain conditions, speed up the rescue response.
