Does anyone know if there is some superstition here about angled walls? I have an angled step in our stair landing so it would work out nicely, but have had several old timers squak like heck about it to me. Of course I don't understand a word they're saying, but can tell by the tone it is not one of praise. I also angled a portion of our perimeter wall to accommodate the future patio. True it is my house, and I don't have any superstitions (I have always been told it is bad luck to be superstitious ), and nothing is going to change, but was wondering about the angled wall thing. ett

Not a problem if the occupants of the space are used to having sharp objects constantly pointing at them.
