Automatic Meat Grinder/Dicer/Chopper

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a food processor or machine of some type that I can toss fresh or frozen whole fish into and it will cut them up into very small pieces. Maybe even mulch it in some cases.

I was attempting to use a blender to do this, but the guts get caught at the very bottom spindle and seizes up the spindle and almost burned up the motor. Even after dismantling it, I had to soak it for a few hours to unwrap the guts.

Any ideas?

someone said awhile back that hand crank meat grinders are available in chinatown...then there is the fancy (Verasu?) kitchen appliance place on Wireless Road...

meself I brought a nice 1kW meat grinder back from the Middle East some years ago; one of the nieces messed with it and managed to lose the little cutting blade and now the beautiful machine is worthless junk...the offending niece's flayed skin now adorns our back terrace as a warning to others not to mess with their uncle tutsi's kitchen stuff when he is away at work...

I can recommend a KitchenAid or Kenwood mixer with the meat grinder accessory. Normally you can get them in a bundle pack, which includes a lot of accessories.

Yes, definitely in Chinatown ,at the bottom end of Yaowarat.Quite a few shops have them ,near the Klong( canal) ,just before the end of Yaowarat Just recently Makro started selling them also.

I thought that was the wife's job. :whistling:
