First of four Citi School Banks open at East Pattaya School

PATTAYA: -- A bank for children has been opened at a school in East Pattaya. On Tuesday afternoon at the Neun Plub Wan School, officials from the Citi Foundation, the charity division of Citibank and Plan Australia, a charity which works extensively in Asia to promote community projects attended the opening ceremony of the new Citi School Bank, which is the first of four similar banks which will be opened in Schools around Pattaya. The purpose of the project is to promote social responsibility and to encourage children to save money at a young age.
