Thai Hubs

Featured Replies

Have any Thai Hubs been successful yet ?

I might of missed something, but what are you talking about?

For whatever delusional reason, Thais think they are better at certain things (many things actually) then everyone else and have the right to continuously declare "we are the hub of such and such bullshit" when in fact they never ever are.

The hub of iodine deficiency --- for sure ---- 1 million per cent.

Don't hubs need spokes?

The government is good at declaring "Thailand will be the hub of........." but it is not good at setting up the links to create the spokes.

I declare Thailand to be the Hub of Hubs.

Hub of prostitution

and

Hub of nationalism

has been going strong for decades now.

Well there's a general perceptual gap between what people outside Thailand believe when they see Thailand and what Thais believe because there's a huge culture and language barrier there. In a way it's probably good for Thailand's self esteem that most Thais don't understand enough english to know what people think. The country has built up this illusion of itself over decades and there's no reason to shatter it unless they start marching on other countries like junior Pol Pots declaring their culture to be the best.

Hub of stupidity seems to be doing fine.

Hub of No Responsibility seems OK too,

Hub of floods isn't going too bad, just needs a bit more water in Bangkok.

Hub of poor education and welfare - flying along! no problems there too.

Hub of drivers pissing at the side of the road doesn't need a bump start.

Hub of Sex Tourism is declining, sadly

Hub of supermarkets filled entirely with canned Tuna is going a bomb!

Hub of bad driving skills is equally OK

Hub of bad social skills and spitting is fine too,

Hub of fleecing is going just as good,

Hub of leeching not a problem

Hub of criminals in temples seems not to need a push start, so what are your gripes? It seems Thailand is the hub of everything.

The funny thing is, if you watch a lot of them on their motorbikes and trailers, the hubs seem so ready to just fall apart!

How many hubs do you want?

Hmmm....sounds vaguely familiar. In a suspected superlative manner, of course.

Like the UK, the Hub of benefit fraud and manipulation, the hub of spongers and money grabbers. We all have our hubs that we should be proud of.

Take alook at South Africa, the hub of AIDS and murder..................USA, the hub of eroding freedom!

I love the sponsored ads for these pages..."Do you Know Thai Days Of The Week" (or weak)

Drudgery - Monday

Slavery - Tuesday

Drudgery - Wednesday

Slavery - Thursday

Pennance - Friday

Pittance Payday - Saturday.

Drudgery- Sunday

and it starts all over again.....................................

Yes....but the guvment does not proudly announce them every second day......especially when they have not successfully launched the first 30 odd hubs of 2011
