Bus To Chiang Rai

Featured Replies

Have friends flying into Chiang Rai tomorrow and thinking about visiting them.

Does anyone know if the Green Line bus service Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai is affected by the floods or operating normally?

Highways and major roads between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai open as normal. Some occassional isolted road flooding and mudslides during heavy downpours, but not enough to disrupt all traffic.Green Bus should be running as Normal.

Is Arcade bus station flooded? And the roads to Bangkok I assume won't be affected, trains will. Am I correct?

Thanks for the quick reply :)

Someone posted elsewhere that Arcade Bus station is open, but some bus routes taking detours around some flooded areas to get out of central Chiang Mai.Trains between BKK and Chiang Mai are most affected when there is flooding.Major highways between BKK and CNX are usually all open with some occassional isolated high water areas.
