Nice Rolex Replicas

I'm guessing they might feel alone and neglected, with no one to talk with? No if the thread had been entitled, "What do peole think of replica watches?", or "What do people think of people who buy replica watches?, then perhaps some of these 'humorous' and inane comments would be valid?

i would think that the person who buys and wears a fake rolex , and especially a fake rolex as opposed to other brands , is the person most likely to be alone and neglected , rather than the one posting the inane comments , by the very nature of the wearers obvious personal feelings of insecurity at having to wear a fake expensive wristwatch.

the subject and study of fake watches may very well be interesting to those fascinated by such minutiae , but the study of those who wear them can be even more interesting , as it can reveal so much about the wearer.

rolex , the brand , is associated for better or for worse , with wealth , thrusting dynamism , eliteness and snobbery.

if you want to know if that watch on that persons wrist is a real rolex or not , you dont even need to look at the watch , look at the haircut , or look at the shoes.

its got to the stage these days that even the owners of real rolexes keep them in the drawer these days because they dont want to be associated with birmingham mini cab drivers , yorkshire fish and chip shop owners or plumbers from moosefart , montana.

any forum query will bring forth comments helpful , funny and inane.

just scroll on down if you dont like what you read.

and dont take it all so seriously.

I have a fake Rolex. Got it at MBK at the place mentioned. Only a douchbag would buy a "real one". Only difference is the price and the trumped up laws.

A mate of mine has a fake one from MBK.After about 5 years it stopped working. He took it to a watch repair shop...they did not have a spare part that was needed...guess who did? Yep, the main Rolex agent in Auckland were the only guys in town that the correct part. :o

Why buying cheap replicas in BKK? If you want to have good quality try www.replica-watches-guide. com register in the forum and have a look. These replicas might be more expensive, but with swiss eta movement. I bought an Omega it keeps perfect time ( looses 2 seconds a day) and looks awesome. Ok it costs 200 Dollar, but after servicing it will last a lifetime like the original ones. Just my 2 Cent. :o

Some replica watches have Seiko automatic movements.

Yeah but, no but...

The guts maybe good but what about the rest?

Think seals and glass! :o

Cheers YBB

yeah but YBB, what most people don't understand, is that the expensive copies are "Exact" replicas...even down to the seals, but they are not cheap. You can pay up to US$250 for the good ones and they are probably better than a Seiko anyway.

Chuchok,

OK. Didn't know you could spend that much on a copy. Sounds interesting! :o

Most I've paid is 2000 baht.

gotta echo this, the ones that come out of Taiwan are not rubbish, they are high quality timepieces.

I had a 1500 GBP Tag-Huer Automatic chronograph that was the most unreliable peice of rubbish i ever set eyes on.

Now i live in Thailand i dont wear a watch, i dont even know what day it is most of the time :o

Actually, where can't you find one ... :D

Both sides of Sukumvit neat Soi 3 - 7 is crawling with knock-off sunglasses and watch sidewalk stands,

If you ever open one up you'll discover the gearworks are made out of plastic and the first thing that fails is the wristband,

Though most won't admit it, everyone has a LOS fabulous fake in some drawer. :o:D

I used to buy these copies. Beautiful watches too. They kept good time, but after a while, they started to look shabby and the chrome or stainless steel veneer wore off, to reveal brass or copper. I have a draw full of them. I have had expensive watches and either lose them or have had them stolen.

I find the best value watches are Seiko. They don't break the bank and stand the test of time.

Replica Rolex watches are sold in the bars of Pattaya. A brace of them in a nice presentation box costs about 1500b if you negotiate. :o

I think there are many Rolex models that are subtle and very classy. The Rolex Air-King is still a classic and is not worn to impress anyone, other than the owner perhaps, as no one would recognize it. Vintage Air-Kings are really nice, and prized by their owners.

The Rolex Explorer is another example of a classic, understated watch. A new Explorer retails for ~ 3,700 USD. An example of a high-quality replica of the Explorer would be the Sandoz Explorer, available for 129 USD.

For me, the fact that a person would want to, or currently does, own a replica watch would not be a factor in assessing their character, nor would I feel the irresistible and uncontrollable urge to insult or denigrate them based on their choice of a particular timepiece.

lol

all these daft comments on wearers of fake rolex's

it appears there's some snobbery on the board, maybe they couldn't afford a real one-so they decide to ridecule peeps for weraring fakes...

i read taxexiles quoted post on this page pmsl

get a life dude

i'm 25 and i've lost count of the amount of my friends that wear..rolex, cartier and panerai

i own a couple of the above, i didn't go for the rolex as i felt they were too known/common :D

i also own a tag(they were good 10-15 year ago)

now i get the impression taxexile is a lot older then myself yet i don't feel the need to judge others on their choice of wrist wear, i don't believe taxexile has ever tried on a genuine expensive watch...i get the impression he's just heard stories 3rd hand or read about them in books...all the elite <deleted> etc pmsl

as for the comment look at a persons shoes or haircut...my friends and myself don't dress smart all the time...sometimes we look like right messy fooks-we don't give a <deleted> :D some of the hairstyles friends and i have worn would be regarded by some as crap(yet the cuts were by same hairdressers as beckham etc)

at the mo' my hair is a complete state as i'm growin it out :o

so your "look at their haircut and shoes" doesn't quite fit :D ...it may well have applied when your daddy originally told u it, but not today :D

my friends and i have bought our watches for several reasons, they look nice, they hold their value ok, they are good to have in the familly(pass down to kids etc) and we could afford them :D

we never bought them because they are the toys of the rich, elite and carry some air of snobbery about them, the way taxexile post's with his comments ...it sounds like he thinks he needs 1....making judgements on peeps personality for their choice of watch....what an arse :D

I wouldn't have a problem if some1 had a moody watch...i wouldn't feel the need to inspect it and i wouldn't feel the need to judge them...but then i own an original...i imagine most peeps that own a nice watch would say the same thing...

so what's on your wrist taxexile??

apart from the thing u pee with :D

all the comments about snobbery etc from some1 who answers to the name taxexile pmsl....what's that all about? trying to create an aura of wealth around yourself pmsl

u'll get comments like this when u post <deleted> like u do

don't take it too seriously :D

bkkbound04: I agree you can't judge someone by what they wear. However most people judge others by how they speak (or in this case write).

All these phrases like "peeps", "moody" and "<deleted>" just marks you out as a typical chav more than by what you might be wearing.

is that right blake??

u obviously mix in different circles than i do :o

the circles i mix in people are comfortable enough with themselves that they can use slang.....hasn't held any1 i know back in terms of success or getting on in life

obviously u mix in simmilar circles to taxexile i.e u need to label peeps on either how they talk or dress

most people i know...peeps 2 u :D would rather socialise and relax with some1 who is confident and non judging, they can talk slang if they wish without some pompous fart telling them what they sound like and how they should talk :D

where did u hear the word "chav"? richard and judy or something? get out and meet people and drop the <deleted>

here's a wee e.g that i heard..some1 at a pals work was stood on their soapbox saying how my hairdresser was a chav..the way he speaks and dresses on telly blah blah he's a chav blah blah....turns out that person lives on a housing estate :D

now there's nothing wrong with living on a housing estate etc..but it carries it's own sterotypes and there's a fair few "chavs" living on them...yet this guy the pompous talking factory worker was calling successful millionaires "chavs" because of how they spoke/dressed...

obviously never heard of "peeps" :D in glass houses etc

i won't give an opinion on how u "come across"(when u write) blake...

if u can understand my chav style post then maybe u'll work it out :D

Interesting.

You right about me as though you think i am some 50+ bloke when in actual fact if you look at my profile you will see i am not even the wrong side of 30 yet.

And really anyone that goes round calling people "peeps" is the truly sad boy.

Why dont you get your mum on here and she can stick up for you :o:D

right/write?

your age doesn't bother me daley...i actually feel more comfortable replying to u knowing that you are closer to my age :D

i've been fighting my own battles a long long time daley :D

on the subject of sad...

i'd class some1 with 1000+ posts in less than a year on a forum as "the sad little boy"

u are far more likely to have a) your mum to hand(living under her roof) b/ have her fight your battles :D

get out some more daley...go meet some chav's :D

u'll waste away spending so much time in front of your pc :o

I dont need to go out to meets chavs, i can just talk to you.

As for my post count, i work unusual hours so i get quite a bit of time at home when my wife is working and my friends are working so i come on here to get some interaction rather than watching tv or in your case playing xbox or playstation.

How old are you by the way?

You call me sad for being on here when you are the young pup that should be out having fun, yet mummy told you it was too late, or the youth club not on tonight?

I seriously think you are a chav though, you have already admitted to wearing Burberry, it dosent matter if it was 5 years ago, still makes you a chav. :D

Ohh yeah picking me up on spelling mistakes, very good. I guess you still being in school you havent had time to forget things

Thank you for your kind responses. I appreciate it very much. Next time I'll look in these places.

My purpose for buying a replica is that a real one is ridiculously expensive, and I don't place much value on watches. If I get bored of the watch, I won't lose a bundle selling it. Plus, if I ever get robbed or I lose it, that's ok. They really are quite beautiful and by buying a replica, you are supporting people who really need the money, versus giving it to those who are terribly wealthy. Sure, they're pretentious, but its fun to see people stare at them!

Regards,

K

thank you so much bkkbound for proving the accuracy of my statements about the character of the wearers of fake rolexes.

there is something about that brand name , and it is only the rolex brand name , that drives people who either cant afford the real thing or are not prepared to pay the full amount for a real rolex (which is an outstandingly crafted watch , and worth every penny of the asking price) to accept second or third best and buy a fake.

these are people who have no interest in the workings of the device , no appreciation of what actually makes the watch so good , no interest in what lies under the skin , people who are concerned only with the superficialities of the appearance of the thing and who seek to convey to others a false impression.

people who seek only to acquire a veneer , with little substance beneath.

people who somewhere along the line saw some mention or connection to the name rolex in a magazine or on the wrist of some filmstar they hopelessly dream of emulating , causing some sleepy and underused brain cell to briefly fizz and crackle and imprint the thought ... rolex is good.... in the cortex before sinking back to its normal dozy state.

if they made bentleys , ferraris or aston martins with hyundai 900cc engines under the hood and vinyl seats , the dealerships would be swamped by fake rolex wearers

once again bkkbound , thank you for your insightful , but superficial ,postings.

Pretty much sums it up. It's pretty certain that the fake Rolex factory owner doesn't buy fake toys with his/her real cash.
