I have recently moved apartments and before I did I got my thai friend to call my internet provider (3BB) and check to confirm they could move the internet to the building I was planning on moving to and they said yes. (This is untrue and whether or not my friend didn't communicate it properly or the call centre got it wrong I don't know.

They told me to go visit the little sales stand close to where I live (in the shopping centre in Huai Khwang) to move it so I went there and filled in a form, drew a map etc etc. Just got a call 2 weeks later to say they're unable to move it to my room because this building is managed by a different ISP, I'm already moved in and waiting for internet.

Does anyone know my options at this point? I guess ideally I'd like to cancel my contract and take a new one up with the new ISP, but don't know if they'll let me. What's the worst that can happen if I refuse to make any further payments if they don't agree to cancel my contract?
