Thought this'd be a better thread, put a positive spin on things and what's open!

I live out on Hwy 305 at Klong 10, 23 km east of Rangsit on the road to Nakhon Nayok, and beyond.

"Beyond" is really the operative road. Heading in this morning to the Rangsit Market saw lots of tour buses headed to about everywhere in the northeast, and several to the north. Saw Aran, Ubon, Nong Khai, NKP, lots of Korats, of courst, Loei, Nan, Chiang Mai, Chieng Khong, and Mae Sot, just to name a few.

Reckon the bus companies have the best intel on what's open or not, and have radio or cell phone contact with their cohorts, so if in doubt about a route, follow the buses.

I was out on 305 again late this afternoon down Klong 6-7 way, still lots of traffic headed both ways, inbound to Bangkok via Rangsit, and outbound to the NE & North.

I don't know where they're turning off of 305, could be at Km 58 to Bang Na and either take 33 back west to Hwy 2, or take the right and head on up to Khaeng Khoi on 3222 to join Hwy 2; could be on to Kabin Buri to join Hwy 304. And some would continue on to the Sakeo/Aran area and might take the northbound route there. Lots of options.

305 and anything North of that on the West side Highway's 1 and 397 are all closed and complaetely flooded.

Travel from Hwy 305

east to Ban Na (just west of Nakhon Nyok then back to Sariburi then north to Lopburi. I know Hwy 11 is open without flooding from Tak Fa.

Not sure about Asia Hwy 1 from Nakon Sawan. Should be open to lampang, but I did not travel that route yesterday. i took Hwy 11 north to Prae then North from there.

Anything from BKK is closed and flooded except to go east alternates tehn north from Nakon Nyok.

Can get to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai

I was just out from home at Hwy 305, Klong 10, Km 23, and down to the Tesco-Lotus at Klong 7. Traffic flowing nicely in both east and west directions. Including tour buses to Ubon, Udorn, Sakhon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, Mae Sot, and Aranyaprathet. Expect that the C. Mai buses are also taking this route to get north but did happen to see any when I was out.

Oh, yes, all dry on 305.
