Ways To Look For Used Cars

Featured Replies

I am wanting to buy a used Toyota 4wd, I am based in Chiang Mai. What are the best ways to look for used car ? (apart from going to the dealerships in CM). Can anyone recommend any websites?

I stumbled across this one - www.cars4thais.com are these kind of websites trustworthy/ any good?

cheers,

There's a bunch of use car tents in Chiangmai on the road that runs between Tesco Lotus (on the Super Highway), and the moat.

If you want 4wd then 5years old or more or just buy new IMO.

Only potential problem with buying new ATM is delivery times - unless looking to buy a runout model you'll probably be looking at Jan-Mar as the earliest delivery date.

Toyota Sure is the best option - the official used-Toyota dealership, all cars are checked and come with a years warranty. Use their website and you can check cars nationwide. I learnt the hard way not to trust tents. My first car in Thailand was a Toyota Soluna-Vios (the old Vios) which I bought from a tent. The car subsequently required a lot of work at the dealership as it had been repaired and maintained with non-genuine parts - quite typical I think, so often by the time something amiss becomes apparent the damage is irreparable.
