Pet Transport And Services

Featured Replies

Q, Anyone with experience on transportation of cats or dogs from Thailand to USA? I have 2 cats and 2 dogs that I want to transport back to the USA, I know I can carry two animals as xtra baggage with me on the plane, but would like some input on other services and your own experience. I will leave the Thai girl here to fend for herself.

Cheers and thanks

We tried to bring a dog back from thailand back in may. We ended up not being able to bring it with us, because we started the process too late. Here is where we went wrong. If the dog is under 3 months old you dont have to worry about rabies shots. If its over 3 months old you have to get it a rabies shot and wait a full month after the shot to make sure the dog is ok. No matter the age you have to get an exam by the vet at the airport. We tried to get another vet to do the exam, but it has to be done by the vet at the airport. They are not open on weekends or holidays (the reason why we couldn't get it done). So get the animals to the airport Vet office as soon as you can. They call it a Pet Passport. I also know there are some fees involved for this process. I am sorry I am not much help, but I know that if you go to the airport vet they will have all of the information.

Good Luck
