I agree, fly to Singapore and buy. It is also easier and usually better prices to trade a watch in Singapore as well and a great selection.

And whilst I know many will disagree and it is fraught with danger, but Ebay can be a good place to buy watches. As long as you stay with reliable sellers with lots of good feedback, and you know what you are looking for, and ensure the watch comes with the correct packaging and warranty, you can do well.

I have bought quite a few watches online, but usually older, cheaper watches like Bulova (Drivers, Big Block and Spaceview(new)), HP 01, Omega Time Computer and a Hughes, which do not get faked.

Forget Thailand for watches.

Sorry to say but in LOS, when l see a bloke with a Big Ben Rolex, l automatically think he's a cheap skate that's been to the Lao Chong Mek board crossing, even if the guys time piece is genuine.. ;)

But l do have here a 1960's ORIS pocket watch.:)
