Air Asia fly Penang to BKK daily at 1725. Approx 1600-2000 Baht one way plus AirAsia's add ons. Should be easy to get a connecting flight to Chiang Mai. All in probably close to 4500 Baht, about 5hrs depending on how long you stay in BKK (PEN-BKK 1hr30m, BKK-CNX 1hr).

Firefly fly Penang to Phuket Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1320. You'd then be waiting 6hrs in Phuket for the evening flight to Chiang Mai with Air Asia. All in more expensive than via BKK and longer waits.

3rd option would be to bus it the 200km (I think) from Penang to Hat Yai, then fly from Hat Yai direct to Chiang Mai. Probably a cheaper option by 2000B or so, though I'm not sure how easy it would be.

At nthe moment it will be impossible to get a flight from BKK to CNX due to the many people trying to leave BKK.

It may be possible to get the direct flight from Pukhet to CNX,

I have based this on you soing a visa run and needing to return. It should be possible to fly CNX to BKK at the moment then out of the country but I think and flights from BKK will be full.

You could consider silkair from CNX to Singapore.

Airasia from CNX to KUL. Then another flight(airaisia), bus, or train to penang.

been really busy ,

is not for my visa , is for my father visa

my younger brother just got a house in singapore and my father decided to retire his retirement visa and skip the monthly report , and op for a tourist visa which will allow him more freedom and travel between singapore and CNX . every 1-2 month or so .

anyway to cut thing so . He love mae sai and love taking air plane whahhahaahahha

bene tyring to link up connecting flight . but having some trouble . i try to book one flight 3 days ago but was called up that it got cancel . and now i having a hard time gett8ing tix . going to bangkok part is easy . .but the flying out one is kinda hard .

and is not really wise to go bangkok now .

anyway will have ot find a solution if not maybe i will bring my father to go Mae sai and do a 14 days extension .
