ข้าวนม, เข้าหนม, ข้าวหนม all of these word is the basis of the word ขนม (Kha Nom). Well-informed person presumed that ขนม (Kha Nom) probably from ข้าวนม (Khaw Nom) because Kha Nom gets power from India which uses rice and milk as main ingredients for cooking. But some say that’s not true because Thai dessert use coconut milk not milk.
