Is Ayutthaya Immigration Office Open Or Flooded?

Featured Replies

This coming week I need to do my 90 day report (TM47) at the Ayutthaya Immigration Office but I am not sure if the office is open again. I had heard it was temporarily closed due to flooding. Does anyone know if it is open? If not open, does anyone know where the temporary location is? Thanks in advance for any help.

scroll down on this forum and you'll find that immigration has announced that customers for the Ayutthaya office are now to go to Chaeng-Wattana (BKK) until further notice...I gots to go meself in December...

That is if Chaengwattan isn't flooded.

I am mailing mine in from my local Amphur (NOong Sua) post office with a registered EMS with receipt & date stamp.

Cheang Wattna road is currently flooded and the goevrnment office cannot be reached.

Mail your 90 day report to the regular office in Ayuthaya, the postman will send them to the correct place.

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately, in the past when I've asked the officials at the Ayutthaya Immigration Office if I could mail in my TM47 form and associated documents, I was advised that the new Ayutthaya Immigration Office does not YET accept mail-in forms. So, Mario, while your suggestion makes perfect sense, I don't think it will work this time. I may just go to the Kanchanaburi Immigration Office and plead my case for them to accept my 90-day report forms due to the current flooding situation in Ayutthaya.

There was an article in the Nation stating that because of the flooding other immirgation office will give services to people using immigration offices that are closed, so I suspect it will not be much of a problem.

I just got back from Kanchanaburi Immigration, where they were happy to do my 90-day report (and accept 2000B fine from me for being late) as well as give me a re-entry permit. My home province is Pathumthani (which is of course closed, with services moved to Chaeng Watthana and Suan Plu). If you are looking for other services (e.g. visa extension) may be better to call them first. No queue and the staff were much nicer than in the 4 other Immigration offices I've been to. I also suggest you go to Kan. Even though it may be a 2hr drive away, I think it could be faster than going into Bangkok.

What a farce. I am in Khon kaen Refugee from Ayutthaya and my 90 days is due there in 2 weeks, If I cant get it done here in Khon kaen(if immigration ayutthaya) is still closed then they can go without it.

If the immigration office is closed you should be able to do it in Khon Kaen or mail it to Bangkok per the attached instructions. Just majke sure that you keep your EMS receipt.
