Amnat Chareon To Bkk

Featured Replies

hi

i recently traveled fromm bkk to issan(amnat chareon). i took the nakhorn nayok, prachinburi, kabin buri, khao yai national park to korat route, amnat, route,

my wife has her english exam this weekend and i need to sort some some business out in bkk so i need ur help.

what roads would u suggest for me to get to bkk, ive looked at a few maps and was thinking taking the same route back but avoiding the nakhon nayok/ rangsit route because of flooding.

looking to goto chachoengsao and then connect onto highway 7 into bkk,

is this a good way or has anyone got a better suggestion

thanks

Yes and no, answering your two questions.

Guaranteed dry route (unless highway 7 gets overwhelmed, which no-one seems to fear. Four lane (six to 8 on 7) all the way from Korat to central BKK except for that excruciatingly slow grind on the 15 kilos of 2 lane lorry-littered stretch thru' the Kabinburi hills on 304.

Reading the several posts of people ding Issaan to BKK it seems there is no fast route at the moment! Expect heavy traffic whichever way u go

Yes and no, answering your two questions.

1.THINK-let your wife call the nightbus comp-they will know how the buses run, nah?

2. TODAY I came from east toward Khorat here, and the route via kabin-Kao Yai was NOT busy at all-and NO BKK-bound buses anymore, but vans yes. Here in Khorat they told me they now again can use the main highway-and cross Rangsit on the super elevated-into Mochit (NO stops in between hence possible). This for NOW only trucks-high buses, cars not.

NO garantee for tomorrow etc-as you see, it changes by the hour
