Busses From Bkk To Nongkhai

Featured Replies

Hey, I need to get a bus from Bkk to Nongkhai, or Vientien a few days later and just wondering how the flooding might have affected this? Also, where can I get the cheapest option, and how much would it cost? Im fine with 3rd class local busses, or trains.

Cheers.

You can get a ac train for about 500 baht. Yeah its noisey but if your up for 3rd class travel surely that wouldnt bother u.

Wouldnt a 3rd class bus or fan train be cheaper?

Train is as expensive as bus but noisy and dirty.

Get a bus from Mor Chit bus station, price is 500-600 baht. Last time I checked they are still running but have to detour due to flooding, expect a longer journey. BKK to Nong Khai is 600km+, not many local buses do that kind of route.
