Wentworth
I've just submitted my Married Visa Extension and when I go to get the 'Golden Stamp' to cover the next year, I want to get a Re-Entry Permit for emergencies. I've looked at the form and it asks for the dates you're expecting to be away for. Could anyone using it from a similar approach let me know what is acceptable to Immigration? Many thanks. lopburi3
Anything or nothing are normally acceptable but if you have any idea just put it down - you are not held to it.
beano2274
The dates do not appear on the Re-entry permit so just write any dates down on the form.
bdenner
Agree with the above, always have one on standby with fictitious dates on the application form. Usually loose one at renewal time but for 1000 Baht I feel it's better 'looking at it than looking for it'.
NancyL
I always just write "unknown" in the space for the date of travel. Worked for several years without any question, esp. when I say I just want to have a re-entry permit in my passport in case I'm called away suddenly for a family medical emergency.
