devaram
Is there a direct bus from Chiangmai to Suvarnabumi? I am concerned about getting to the airport if the city is flooded and the last I heard Mo Chit bus terminal may soon be evacuated.
forgetit
As far as i have read, if Morchit2 gets eveacuated it will be relocated to BKK airpport, so one might hope for this and this would make travel within easier. ^^

forgetit
Is it not a problem to get from mo chit to suvarnaboom by taxi? I have monitored the internet for the last week as i have to travel from swampy to morchit at saturday morning. So far there should be no problem to get there by taxi, but situation might change. A good page for this is http://www.thaitravelblogs.com/2011/10/essential-thaiflood-information-for-foreign-tourists-in-thailand/ and the usal suspects of bangkok post online, the nation and thai visa http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/forum/18-thailand-news/
fezzy
Just fly it will be about 3 times the price and 1.5 hrs of your time instead of 10- 12 hrs of bumpy and damaged roads from Bangkok to Sukhothai due to floods as I live in northern Sukhothai and roads are awash
Ricardo
The NakhonChaiAir buses pass fairly-close to the airport, en-route to Pattaya and Rayong, pity they don't make a quick stop at Swampy, as they might pick-up a few budget-end travellers ? One might save at least a thousand Baht each-way, in exchange for the extra travel-time, and there might be people wanting to get to places en-route too ?
