Wife has bought Radio Station

(with friends, old school friends)...of course,,,but they are OK..wives and kids of their own etc.

They all think an hour a day of farang twaddle...english, football, music , fashion, sex...would be a gas...

I am not so sure

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

If you had to talk for 60 minutes a day 365/365 on the radio..to adolescent/housebound Thais ()with music of course)(what music for x sake??).....and not about yourself heh! heh! WhAT ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO??

As a full time broadcaster in the UK here are a few tips from me

1. Be yourself dont put on a silly DJ voice!

2. Split the hour into segments in between the music then fill each segment, its a bit less daunting that way! You want to be play between 7 and 12 records an hour according to how much speech you want.

3. You could take a look at local Thai papers and give your views on the local news

4. Do an entertainment guide whats on tv or at the cinema

5. Talk about things you love in Thailand or things you miss about home

6. Pick up some threads from this website and talk about them

7. Talk about good local things like restaurants, ect

just a few ideas good luck

Do not even mention HM the King or any members of The Royal Family.
