November 13, 201114 yr Yes and the great thing is that the updates can be done without even a physical connection. I did my iphone and ipad updates with no problems.

November 13, 201114 yr anyway, the iOS update shall bring battery improvements. have not yet got a chance to test this ... since my phone here loose signal every 3 minutes, seems some AIS Stations have some arrangement problems since the water is here at our street. as for the rest, its much more stable .. (the 5.0 at all beta's) had the issue that it start to lag brutally after use multiple apps. specially photos or Facebook) seems to be resolved now .. absolutely worth the update, hope someone can give some intel about the battery issues

Weird... i had this with early Beta Versions as well. just disconnect the cable ... and reconnect will do the job and complete the sync.
November 14, 201114 yr it was supposed to fix the battery problem. but my 4S got worse. drained 10% in just one hour (Music + iMessage on EDGE), before this it will only cost me 5% of batt.

I hope those hackers hurry up and unlock the 04.11.08 baseband. You can jailbreak iOS 5, but the unlock isn't ready. Right now I really hate AT&T and Apple.

Apple sells unlocked iPhones in the US and here. You bought a discounted phone based on a 2 year contract with AT&T, so don't blame Apple...
