SDH
Anyone have an opinion on the best fishing spot around CM? Of course there would have to be readily available alcohol and food "essentials of fishing" as well as bait rods and all the other essentials. I've been checking on the I-Net and saw that there was a pond real close to CM.

A large pump was inserted in a large ditch that was stocked with a few varities of fish. While the water was pumped into another large ditch we did our best to get pissed. Really suceeded there, but then the fishing began. Our large party consisting of several thai families, my norse friend jonny, and myself slid, fell jumped or any number of variations getting into the water or what little there was left (about a foot) and spent a couple of hours grabbing the fish out by hand wa ding around through the mud. Albeit the older kids did much better than the adults, and grabbing catfish does prove to a bit painful at times. It nevertheless was a good time/

My husband also has a registered tour company that specialises in Fishing Tours, and he sells them for about half the price as Fishing in Chiang Mai, including equipment, lunch, and transportation. Same tours, he's the guide - speaks English and knows a tonne about fishing - everyone he's taken has had a fantastic time. He also teaches people how to prepare and cook the fish if they catch something that they can and want to take home and eat. No internet site, unfortunately. I also, obviously, declare an interest in this. PM me if you'd like more info or his mobile number.
